The mixture of elements that make up the layer spread over the friction material of the Sinter Newfren range contains slightly abrasive elements that will remove the impurities of the old pad present on the face of the brake disc during the first brakes. As a bonus, these channels also help to cool the friction surface. Our FTR shoes were devised and patented in the 1980s. They were particularly beneficial in off-road applications, when nothing else would do. They are still much appreciated by the classic bike fraternity.
